Naturism & Health
Are you reluctant to take the plunge into naturism? You should know that it has been proven that nudity gives us numerous benefits, equally on a psychological and physiological level.
One of the essential keys to being happy and healthy is through accepting yourself: love your body, be at ease with and have confidence in yourself. The idea of appearing naked in front of others makes you feel somewhat uncomfortable. However, when you’ve taken this leap, you can have confidence in yourself. This is a practice which proves effective to let go of society, its diktats and demands. You’ll thus feel relaxed and calm, and have greater self-esteem.
Originally, naturism was a medical treatment recommended by doctors, enabling the skin to enjoy the benefits of the sun. Moreover, being naked from morning ‘til night is the best way to gradually get the skin used to the sun. You can expose your skin even to mild rays, such as those in the morning or evening. Your skin becomes less prone to sunburn when exposed to harmful rays, between 12 noon and 4 p.m.
There is a multitude of other arguments, such as the benefits of naturism on body temperature regulation. Wearing clothes all the time gradually changes our ability to regulate body temperature. With naturism, such temperature regulation is quicker, more effective.
You should also know that naturism is a very hygienic, natural practice. For example, one of the basic rules of naturist behaviour is never to place your bottom directly on a chair but always on your towel. In addition, without damp swimwear or too tightly fitting clothes, there is no disruption to the blood or lymphatic circulation; this avoids any irritation and other annoyance. Lastly, naked you sweat less. That said, perspiring – especially in summer, is conducive to small bacterial infections, which could quickly spoil your holiday. In short, being naked has many advantages!
It only remains for you to try it and judge for yourself!
