From the gourmet perspective, authentic locally produced cuisine and fresh, seasonal and local produce await you in various restaurants on the campsite. The chefs at the “Le Landais Gourmand” restaurant even make the most of the permaculture vegetable garden on Arnaoutchot. Moreover, they make it their duty to provide for all types of diet, so everyone discovers gourmet bliss during their stay!
On the wellness front, complete relaxation is guaranteed by the relaxing treatments in the “Bassins d’Arna”, a superb balneotherapy complex located in the very heart of the site. The Landes department is a popular naturist destination, for a holiday by the ocean. Having a coast comprising vast sandy beaches and protected natural areas by the ocean, naturism has been practised here since the 1930s! By staying on the Arnaoutchot campsite, you’ll enjoy the naturist beach, over one kilometre long, nestling within an unspoilt protected setting. So you can swim safely, the beach has lifeguard supervision from mid-June to the beginning of September. It has toilets, showers and a first-aid station. Lastly, animals kept on leads are permitted on the Arnaoutchot beach. However, our four-legged friends must swim outside of the swimming area supervised by lifeguards!
